What did your dad tell you about a free lunch? This week a friend called to share the following story with me. My friend is the only Conservative in a very large family!! He was having lunch with one of his sisters and her husband .... a couple of real OBAMA BACKERS. As the conversation drifted towards politics (as it always does) my friend explained to the OBAMA BACKERS that if things continued the way they were going each of us working stiffs ..... even big time OBAMA BACKERS would be paying more than half our incomes to taxes.
Now close your eyes, lean back and guess what their retort was ................. YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO GUESS IT ....... The husband seriously and quite honestly explained ..... "I will not be paying any taxes, because I am going to quit my job and let the government take care of me and my family." WHAT? Could you repeat that please? .... I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THINKING LIKE THIS .... My friend didn't even know what to say ...... He just sat there in silence for several minutes .... then He got up and left the table. I think he was having trouble digesting the conversation and needed to go to the bathroom to throw up....it sure makes me want to!
It will be a sad day for our Republic when a majority of VOTING Americans side with my friend's OBAMA BACKING relatives .... and then a cycle will ensue ... voting in only those who will perpetuate the tax and spend FREE LUNCH approach to Governing. But there is one thing I want all to remember ... My Dad taught me that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH!!
