I opened YAHOO! today and guess what the main headline was ....
Barack Obama: The human flyswatter.
GET REAL!!!
An entire news story on OBAMA swatting a fly .... on how he tried to shoo the fly first .... and then the comments on his cat like reflexes and speed as he actually swatted the fly .... even an OBAMA quote: "That was pretty impressive, wasn't it? I got the sucker." ..... IT ALL MAKE ME WANT TO SCREAM OUT .... WHO CARES???
I have had to endure story after story about ...... the dog ..... WHO CARES?
The dates .... we have stories telling us that there is going to be a date and how wonderful that is ... and then the predate info on where and what is going to happen and how wonderful that is ..... and the actual date stories and how wonderful that is .... and then the post date wrap-ups and how wonderful the date actually was .... WHO CARES?
Stories about the beauty and muscular tone of Michelle Obama .... and her wardrobe and fashion sense .... and her style ..... and the shoes ..... The next Jackie Kennedy ....... I could go on for hours on this one .... WHO CARES?
They swoon when he speaks ... and don't listen to what he has to say or perhaps they don't understand what he is saying.
WE NEED THE PRESS IN THIS COUNTRY TO BE OBJECTIVE .... to seek out the break-ins at the Watergate Hotel ....
To call a President to task when he passes all his new laws through executive order and not legislation .....
Or to cry foul when he spends more money in 100 days then ALL THE PRESIDENTS BEFORE HIM HAVE SPENT COMBINED!
THE PRESS IS TOO BUSY GOING TO PARTIES AT THE WHITE HOUSE TO NOTICE WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE ....
and before they figure it out it will be too late.
WAKE UP!!!!
